Written in 1843, the story of The Three Little Pigs is one of the most well-known and beloved stories for preschool and young school children. Although the text has been taken up and adapted, over time, by countless writers, the three characters continue to inspire plays, animated films, role-playing games with educational purposes.

Like all other stories, this one too begins with… once upon a time, there was a family of little pigs. Such a wonderful life they all had! The children, three cheerful and rompish brothers, would play all day in puddles, run aound and make up all sorts of poems and songs. Although they weren’t grown ups just yet, the three little pigs decided they should start living on their own and find their own way.
– My darlings, go and discover the great world, but beware of the big bad wolf, for he is always hungry.
And so their adventure started.
– Brothers, first of all, we need to build a house, said Naf-Naf, the oldest pig. Winter is coming, soon it will start getting windy and snowy, and we need a roof over our heads.
– Look, a hay stack! It looks really comofortable, so I think I’ll make a house out of it, said the youngest pig and started building his house, thinking he would be done in no time and resume playing.
– Alright, oink-oink! Good luck! Oh, look at those lovely sticks! I’ll gather some and build myself a strong house! said Fiddler, the second pig.
– Hmmm, I want something sterdier, thought the oldest brother and made his way through the woods. Even if it takes longer, I want to have a house made out of brick, with a tall roof, windows and a fireplace.
While the younger pigs were dancing, singing and playing around, completely carefree, Naf-Naf was laying brick upon brick and working hard on his house.
After a while, a hungry wolf semlled fresh meat and knocked on Fifer’s straw door.
– Go away, you big, bad wolf! I will not open the door, yelled the youngest pig, frightened.
– If you won’t open the door, I’ll blow your whole house down.
And that’s exactly what he did. He huffed and he puffed and the house stood no chance! The youngest pig started running towards Fiddler’s house when he saw his house destroyed.
– You can run, but you cannot hide, you delicious little pigs! I’ll eat you up in no time!
And he started huffing and puffing again. Although the house made out of sticks was sterdier, the wolf had to huff and puff only twice and he managed to blow it down. The only thing left standing was his little door.
– Naf-Naf, open up! The big bad wolf is coming! started yelling the two brothers, as they were
running towards the brick house.
– I want to get in!
– Never!
The wolf huffed and puffed and puffed and huffed, but to no avail! The brick house would not
budge!
– Fine! Then I’ll make my way down the chimney, thought the wolf, dreaming of his delicious
dinner. I will eat all three pigs in one bite!
But the three little pigs had come up with a plan: they had made the fire and placed a pot full
of boiling water on top of it.
– Ouuuuuuch! I’ve never been in greater pain before! yelled the wolf and ran out of the house,
as fast as he could! I’m never coming back here ever again!
– Yaaaay, we’re aliiiiiive! We can breathe easy now!
– My dear brothers, said Naf-Naf, let’s live here together, shall we?
– Yeeees, thank you, thank you!
